We hope this message finds you well and in good spirits. On behalf of the Labilabi National High School Alumni Batch 1976, we humbly reach out to invite your support for a deeply meaningful initiative: the repair and rehabilitation of our beloved community church, the San Isidro Labrador Church. Built in the 1940s, the San Isidro Labrador Church in Central Danao stands as one of the historic churches in Negros. For decades, it has been a symbol of faith and resilience in our community. Even after the closure of the sugar central—the lifeblood of our town—the church has remained the last communal structure standing, a beacon of hope amidst change. Sadly, time has taken its toll: its walls and beams now show serious deterioration, yet it continues to host Sunday masses despite its precarious condition. Recognizing the urgent need for intervention, our alumni group began planning last year to assess the repairs required. We carefully studied the technical aspects, funding needs, project management, and long-term sustainability of the rehabilitated structure. With this groundwork, we have organized ourselves into a dedicated team committed to restoring the church swiftly and responsibly. To bring this vision to life, we sincerely appeal for your financial support. We are establishing a website, centraldanaochurch.org, where benefactors can view project details, updates, and progress reports. The site also allows donors to verify their contributions, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the process.
